Have you always enjoyed writing and even feel you would like to write a book one day – but have no idea where to start?
In this weekend course, the excellent tutor and novelist Susan Elderkin will help you get your project off the ground.
Whether you’re interested in fiction, non-fiction or a blend of both, you’ll be guided on how to make important choices (from place to point of view), to listen out for what makes your voice strong and, in the process, discover that the most compelling stories are often the ones we did not mean to tell… Come with a notebook and pen and an expectation to surprise yourself!
Open to people of all levels of experience, from complete beginners upwards.
There will be 3 sessions with Susan and plenty of time in between to write, read and discuss your project with others.
We are offering hugely reduced rates in our B&B and have 4 doubles and 1 twin room available at £60 per room, each with its own bathroom. A continental breakfast is included in the room rate. Please ring us if you wish to stay. There is an extra charge of £12 for a homecooked supper each evening.

In the event of a cancellation, we are able to refund the full cost of the course, less admin charges, up to 4 weeks before the course. Thereafter 50% of the cost, less admin charges up to 2 weeks before the course and we regret no refund is possible for any cancellations after that date.
