Your privacy is important to us here at Gutchpool Farm. We will never pass your details onto a third party, aside from our website provider Wix, as detailed below.

This policy gives you an overview of the data we collect, hold and use as a result of our communications with you. We may change details to this policy from time to time in order to improve our service.

We collect the information you give us when you either subscribe to our mailing list, buy something from our shop (online or in person), book to attend one of our workshops of courses, contact us by email, telephone, social media or in person to enquire about the farm.

If you have booked onto an event through the website your payment details will be processed by a third party as detailed below.

We will only send you emails if you have specifically joined our mailing list and we keep them to a minimum number per year.

Third party service providers

Our website, mailing list and shop are hosted by Wix. They provide the e-commerce platform that enables you to book events, such as workshops and progress. Your data is therefore stored through Wix’s data storage, databases and the general Wix application. They store your data on secure databases protected by a variety of industry standard access controls. Secure passwords, SSL encryption, disk-based encryption, firewalls and other measures are in place to help them protect your data. Wix use third party payment processors such as Paypal and Stripe to process your payment information securely and they are governed by their own privacy policies.

We will generally only hold your information for the purposes of keeping you updated with details of an event you have booked or of forthcoming events through our newsletter mailing list. Please contact us if you would like these details to be removed or amended. You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time. You can request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998.

We take all reasonable care to protect your details but we cannot be held liable for for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to data you provide.
