In making a reservation, you agree to the Terms & Conditions. Please ensure you have read the following:
We have a minimum stay of 2 nights.
When booking we require a valid phone number, email and postal address.
The postal address must be linked to the credit card given.
Without these we regret we cannot accept the booking, and it is likely the booking would be cancelled.
Please also supply the name/s of guests staying if these are different from the person paying.
Arrivals & departures
Check in is from 17.00 to 19.00. It may be possible for you to arrive earlier or later by prior arrangement.
Check out is by 10.00am weekdays and 10.30am at the weekend.
Booking & payment
When a booking is made a deposit of 50% is taken 2 weeks before check in or immediately if this is less than 14 days before check in. Deposits apply on a ‘per room’ basis and are not transferable.
Any monies owing, under the terms of this contract, must be paid on or before departure.
Once we have confirmed a booking a legal contract exists between Gutchpool B&B and the person, or persons, making the booking. When bookings are made on behalf of a group, by an individual, this contract is deemed to be between Gutchpool B&B and the individual making the booking. Accommodation is only available to the person or persons agreed at the time of booking and reservations are not transferable without prior agreement.
Cancellation of your booking must be made in writing, preferably via email.
When a cancellation notice is received up to 14 nights prior to the booking, the deposit will be refunded.
If a cancellation is made with less than 14 nights’ notice the deposit is not refunded. We therefore recommend visitors arrange their own cancellation insurance.
If we are forced to cancel your booking for reasons outside our control we will endeavour to offer you alternative comparable accommodation at no extra cost to you. Should we be unable to provide a suitable alternative, we will reimburse any sum already paid by you. We will be under no further obligation or liability for any losses or expense arising from the cancellation. There are no further circumstances for which we will be liable for any refund.
Cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel any letting should you or any member of your party cause damage to the property, its furniture or contents, or should you create a disturbance to the occupants of any adjoining rooms.
In the event of any breakages, damage or exceptional cleaning required after the room is vacated, we will notify the Guest within 48 hours of any costs incurred and will charge this payment to their credit card. Breakages or other damage must be reported as soon as they occur.
Right of entry
The owners and employees of Gutchpool B&B shall be allowed access to rooms at all reasonable times for purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary cleaning, repairs or maintenance.
Liability & insurance
Gutchpool B&B and its employees do not accept third party liability in respect of breach of contract, negligence, misrepresentation or otherwise. We cannot in any circumstance accept liability for any personal injury, loss of life, damage, loss or accident to personal property. Visitors are advised to ensure their own insurance covers any loss or damage to personal property during their stay and to ensure adequate personal and travel insurance is taken out.
We regret we cannot accept pets.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises.
Workshops and courses
Cancellation policy & refunds
If you need to cancel your place on a workshop or course, please give us as much notice as possible, so that we can resell your ticket. We regret we are unable to provide a refund less than 28 days before the date of your workshop or course. All refunds are subject to a 1% booking fee, which is deducted by Wix (our website and booking service provider) at the time of booking. If we have to cancel a workshop we will offer you an alternative date in the future or give you a refund.
